Canadian Elections Held in June
August - September 2004
Since August, hurricanes have torn through Florida taking
dozens of lives and causing billions of dollars worth
of damage. Leaving thousands homeless and millions without
electricity, Hurricanes Charley, Frances Ivan and Jeanne
may have been swift, but the wreckage left behind will
take months to clean up. Local 1 FL members are doing
all
they can to get back to work. Local 1 FL President Robert
Blanco said, “You just have to bunker down and get
through these situations as best you can. Local 1 FL members
are pretty resilient. As soon as the clouds pass, they’re
out there, back to work as usual.”
