Workers Memorial Day - April 28, 2001

On April 28th workers will join together in meetings, demonstrations, and moments of silence on the job to remember those workers who lost their lives because of work-related accidents, injuries, and illnesses. Although progress has been made, millions of workers continue to be killed, injured, and madeill each year as a result of their working conditions.

It’s time to renew our fight for strong safety and health protections by electing candidates who support your right to go home at the end of the day in the same condition as when you left in the morning.
