Question: When will the funds start sending my contributions back to my home Local funds?

Answer: The funds that you’re working under will begin transferring contributions to your home Local funds effective with the first day of the month in which the Employee Authorization and Release Form is completed and received.

Question: What if I change my mind — can I stop transfers to my home Local funds once I’ve signed the Authorization Form?

Answer: Yes — if you complete a Request for Cessation of Transfers Form and submit it to the fund(s) administrator they will stop transferring your contributions. However, for the remainder of the time that you work in that Local, the contributions you earn will be put, on your behalf, in their funds.

Question: How often will the contributions that I earn be transferred?

Answer: Transfers will take place monthly — as soon as practical following the end of the month for which contributions are made.
