Local 1 Massachusetts Member Named Quinque Fellow

Local 1 MA member Jerry LeBlanc’s passion for traditional building methods was evident even as an apprentice participant at Masonry Camp in 1998, where he was seldom seen without a chisel in his hand.

Add BAC Local 1 Massachusetts member Jerry LeBlanc to the list of esteemed historic preservationists who have earned a coveted Quinque Fellowship.

The Quinque Fellows Program sent him to Scotland for 10 weeks to study and share ideas with leading conservationists there. Fellows are typically well-established practitioners with proven expertise in architectural conservation and traditional building techniques.

LeBlanc is a walking advertisement for BAC/IMI training programs. The Princeton, MA resident has taken advantage of IMI’s pre-job training (at the New England Training Center), stone training (at the National Training Center), and Masonry Camp.
