Look for Your IPF Annual Participant Statement
It’s that time of year again when you need to check your mailbox for your annual participant statement from the International Pension Fund (IPF).
The annual statement lists the hours reported on the participant’s behalf and also includes estimates of past service and future service credit earned.
During Plan year 2001, the IPF processed roughly 850,000 report transactions from over 10,000 contributing employers.
We’d Like to Hear From You!
Just because you’ve retired doesn’t mean we don’t want to hear from you. Please write and let us know how you’re enjoying your retirement. We’d like to hear about hobbies, trips, volunteer work, or just how it feels to not have to get up at the crack of dawn on a sweltering summer day or a frigid winter morning.
Send in a photo and/or a description of what you’re doing to the International Pension Fund (see address at left) so that we can share it with other retirees and let active members know what they have to look forward to. |

Based upon information in those reports, more than 65,000 Plan participants received 70,000,000 hours of credit. Hours worked within non-participating Local Unions do not appear on the annual participant statement.
If you have questions about the hours and amount of credit shown on your statement, please send a brief letter with a copy of your statement to:
Attention: David F. Stupar, Executive Director

1776 Eye Street, NW Room 750
Washington, D.C. 20006
Fax: 202-347-7339 • E-mail: dstupar@ipfihf.org
Include with your letter copies of pay stubs for any missing hours and any other documents that will help to verify your records.
Also, if your beneficiary shown on the statement is not correct, please send a new designation in writing. Beneficiary designations made under your local benefit Plans or for the IU mortuary benefit do not apply to the International Pension Fund. Remember to contact IPF if you have any questions.
