BAC Hits a Home Run in the Fight Against Diabetes

BAC staff members went to bat against members and employees of National Capital area trade unions and corporations at the 2nd Annual Building Trades Softball Slam to benefit the Diabetes Research Institute (DRI). The event took place on the grounds of the George Meany Center for Labor Studies in Silver Spring, MD, on September 7. Program ads, supported largely by BAC Local Unions, helped raise nearly $18,000 for DRI research programs.
