2002 Craft Awards Honor Projects, Craftworkers,
Heroes
The 2002 Craft Award winners hold a unique place in BAC
history. Abundant work opportunities, scores of high-profile
projects, and the stirring accounts of BAC members working
in the aftermath of the September 11th attacks set the stage
for a memorable Awards ceremony, held in conjunction with
the Union’s Executive Council meeting in October. BAC
President John J. Flynn commended the honorees for their
outstanding work and service in a year characterized by triumph
and tragedy, saying, “You are a credit to our crafts,
to the Union, and to the industry.”
