Regional Apprentice Contests Underway

BAC President John J. Flynn joined officers, contractors,
and 45 apprentices from New York and New Jersey at
the Region 2 Apprentice Contest held in Albany,
NY on May 3. The apprentices competed for prizes and a chance to advance
to the upcoming BAC/IMI International Apprentice Contest.
President Flynn in a
quote captured by the Albany Times Union summed it up: “This contest
gives young craft workers an opportunity to show everyone how serious they
are about their careers and presents a healthy future for the industry
and our community.”
