Local 1 Missouri Members Building Solid Structures for Children and Families
Des Peres Community Center
Christian Brothers College High School | Des Peres Community College

Scheduled for completion in October 2003, the Des Peres Community Center will provide a new focal point for residents of Des Peres, Missouri. Twenty Local 1 MO members, employed by Grant Bricklaying Company, have been working on this eight-month project. During this time, they’ve spent 20,000 hours installing 100,000 brick, 200 tons of rubble stone, and 100,000 block to produce a unique and durable look.
