Local 4 New Jersey Member Home Safely from Iraq

United States Marine Corps Sgt. and Local 4 NJ member Steve Linde took this photograph in the Iraqi city of An Nasiriyah, a quarter mile from the site of PFC Jessica Lynch’s rescue. The bricks in the picture were taken from a Baath Party headquarters that had been destroyed. Stationed in Iraq from March through July 2003, Sgt. Linde was a section leader for three 60MM mortars, which were used during combat operations. Now safely back home in New Jersey, Sgt./Brother Linde is completing his apprenticeship and hopes to earn his journeyman status soon.
