New TV Ad Promotes BAC

A new 30-second television commercial co-sponsored by BAC and IMI, which promotes BAC and the unionized masonry industry, made its debut at the Convention.

The spot, using the tagline, “Count on skilled Union craftworkers – they’re the masonry experts,” is being aired on the Outdoor Life Network’s (OLN) “Life in the Open” television show. Featuring Northern Ohio Administrative District Council Director Bob Fozio and his daughter, Theresa, a world champion archer, the ad juxtaposes images of high-quality sportsmanship and craftsmanship to illustrate the remarkable skills of BAC members. It is designed to spur interest in BAC among potential new members and contractors.

Early reports from the network indicate that ratings are high, with roughly 300,000 households reached during its first week of airing. “It was the highest rated show in the day’s block of field sports programming,” according to OLN’s Director of Field Sports Programming and Production.

The ad is scheduled to run with the show on Sundays at 10:30 am eastern and Mondays at 12:30 pm eastern through March 2006.
