New Regional Structure Introduced at Convention

A change to Code 9 of the IU Constitution, which reorganized BAC's ten Regions into five Regions, was introduced and accepted by Convention delegates. The genesis of BAC's new regional structure, consisting of the Northeast, South, North Central, West, and Canada, was the Millennium Morning Report, which focused on the four U.S. Census Regions and Canada in its entirety - a breakdown more commonly used by government and industry. As the study progressed, and regional market variations and similarities were identified, it became increasingly clear that restructuring BAC's Regions would enable the Union to function better at the Regional level and utilize existing staff resources in those areas more effectively.
