BAC Life Member Celebrates 102nd Birthday!

In early 2005, Local 1 Maryland/Virginia/District of Columbia retired member Peter Scaldaferri, right, celebrated his 102nd birthday with family, friends and fellow member, Tony Volpe, left. Brother Scaldaferri became a member of former Local 2 DC in 1923 and spent most of his career as a stonemason working for Segreti Brothers and Perna Co. Brother Scaldaferri still lives at his home with a
housekeeper. Tony Scaldaferri, Peter’s son, said of his father, “His mind is still good…mentally he is still all there.” He enjoys spending time with his four children, Theresa, Ann, Rocco, and Tony.
