Ottawa Hosts BCTD Legislative Conference

BAC participants included, from left, Oliver Swan (7 CN), Clarence Gallant (1 PE), Gerald Reinders (8 NB), Phil Hall (1 NS), IU Regional Director – Canada, Fred Vautour, BAC Canadian Congress Co-Chair Clarence Medernach (1 SK), Dan Plunkett (7 CN), Mike Gagliano (6 ON), Rob Tuzzi (2 BC), and Graeme Aitken, BAC Assistant to the President.

In May, BAC officers joined fellow Building Trades Representatives from across Canada at the annual Legislative Conference in Ottawa, hosted by the BCTD Canadian Office. The theme of the Conference, “The Craft Compact,” emphasized the quality, productivity, and superior health and safety standards of Canada’s unionized construction workforce.
