Bates Scholarship (U.S. Program): Apply Online

Attention – U.S. BAC members who are parents or stepparents of a high school junior

If you’re a U.S. BAC member and the parent or stepparent of a high school junior, be sure you’re up to speed on the requirements and online application process for the Bates Scholarship. Remember, students must apply as high school juniors. For details and a link to the online entry site, go to BAC’s website at www.bacweb.org and select Member Benefits, then Education. The BAC parent’s six-digit BAC/IU number and BAC Local Union number and state(s) must be provided on the online entry form.

Also note that applicants must take or plan to take the standardized “PSAT” exam before the deadline of March 1, 2007. Winners are selected in early 2008.

Children of Canadian members apply in their senior year. Application forms will be available at www.bacweb.org in March 2007. The deadline is June 1, 2007.
