Father Expresses Gratitude for Local’s Support

In the weeks that followed the untimely death from cancer of Local 2 British Columbia apprentice bricklayer Scott Mitchell in December 2005, a group of Local 2 members led by President Rob Tuzzi helped the grieving family find solace by guiding them through the mountain of paperwork that had accumulated during Scott’s illness. Scott’s father, retired boilermaker Robert Mitchell, right, with President Tuzzi, attended a recent Local Union meeting to personally convey his family’s gratitude for Local 2’s steadfast support and assistance.
