Local 1 Massachusetts/Vermont Apprentice Carries the Torch

Apprentice Nicholas Gagnon of Local 1 Massachusetts/Vermont, is proud of his family’s longstanding BAC membership. The first family member to join BAC was Nicholas’ great, great grandfather Mark, a 50-year gold card member of Local 1 Minnesota/North Dakota. Mark’s son, Leonard Joseph, followed in his footsteps and gave 24 years of BAC service. Next was Leonard’s son, Gerald, who is a 42-year member of Local 1, and his son Leonard Joseph, a 20-year member of the same Local. But it is Nicholas, a fifth generation bricklayer and apprentice in Local 1 Massachusetts/Vermont, who brought the Gagnon family trade to the east coast.
