Illinois Members Restore “Eternal Flame”

Local 21 Illinois Apprenticeship and Training Program students and Local 52 Illinois journey-level members donated materials and their time to restore the Eternal Flame Monument at Worth Veterans Memorial Park in Worth, Illinois. Completed in fall 2006, members reset and caulked the granite and marble and replaced weathered joints on the Eternal Flame Monument. The Eternal Flame Monument was originally constructed in 1993 and is dedicated to the men and women who fought and died in all United States wars.
