When we talk about masonry professionals – craftworkers or contractors – we have the certification process to back it up. Each training certification program includes rigorous benchmarks and testing procedures that make the IMI seal of approval an industry hallmark.
- ACT Certifications
The advanced Certification for Tile Installers (ACT) is a new set of certifications that recognize the importance of qualified installers and the role that the installers play in the success of any tile project.
- AAC Installation and Coatings
One promising material new to the US market is Autoclaved Aerated Concrete. IMI trains BAC members in installations and coatings, and informs designers and builders.
Grout & Reinforced Masonry Designers are increasingly specifying certification in grouting and reinforced masonry, and IMI provides it.
JAHN stone and terra cotta restoration materials are considered superior, and IMI offers an exclusive certification program, licensed by U.S. distributor Cathedral Stone Products, Inc. Courses at the Flynn Center also cover restoration practice and theory.
