TEAM IMI Workshop a Hit with Delegates

Delegates learned about IMI training and marketing programs, and plans for the new BAC/IMI National Training Center at the “Team IMI” workshop.

The “Team IMI” Workshop offered delegates an opportunity to hear about the wide range of training and marketing programs available through IMI to promote BAC skills and create more job opportunities for members, including:

    Delegates visit the Lifelong Learning booth.
  • Plans and images of the new National Training Center, which generated plenty of enthusiasm for both the physical campus and the concept of a national “Masonry University.”
  • The new brick and block curriculum, which is being distributed to participating Locals, and the Training Management System, which includes New Products & Certifications.
  • The Lifelong Learning table, which showcased IMI educational programs for members, contractors and design professionals, including new initiatives such as the Masonry Restoration [PCC] Seminars and the residential contractor startup program inspired by the Millennium Morning Project recommendations.
  • The Market Intelligence table, which introduced delegates to the new Life Cycle Cost Analysis program that shows how competitive masonry is with all other building systems.

Other booths offered delegates insight into how IMI influences decision makers with an arsenal of tools that include technical materials and affiliations, national publications, hands-on programs, trade shows and custom consultations, all of which get the Union message out.
