The development and support of skilled instructors continue to be central to the IMI mission of providing skills training and continuing education for BAC members. New training modules unveiled at the Flynn Center, June 13-15, on the Building Envelope (including the Flashing Upgrade), Structural Masonry (including Grout Certification), Green Construction and Rainscreen Walls provide the IMI Instructor Certification Program (ICP) with updated resources on some of the hottest topics in the industry today.

The new format for the ICP allows for smaller groups of instructors to rotate through the Flynn Center at regular intervals for Train-the-Trainer modules that will not only keep the subject matter more current, but will also allow it to be delivered in a much more cost-effective manner. Another advantage of the 2-1/2 day sessions is that instructors will not have to be away from their training centers for a prolonged period.
Thirty-two instructors from throughout the U.S. and Canada participated in this kick-off of the new ICP modules.
